Ferro - China was an aperitivo/amaro created around 1881.
History tells us that the Cinchona barks were cooked on iron plates before being macerated.
My grandfather Giovanni Porpora, one of the founding member of our old distillery in Italy, formulated our Ferro - Kina recipe in 1967.
We are producing our Ferro - Kina following ourtraditional methods, macerating our proprietary botanical blend in terracotta amphoras.
Our Tonico highlights aromas of bitter lemon, china calisaya, gentian lutea and iron citrate.
